I have had a lot of requests from my photographer friends for instructions for how I make my famous heart garlands. I use the raindrop and hearts all the time in my photography studio as backdrops, and have made permanent versions out of foam sheets to hang in my kids bedrooms. These garlands are inexpensive, easy to make, and are perfect for birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, photo shoots, decor, etc. Materials: 1 – Assorted card-stock in colours of your choice or Foam Sheets I used blues for the raindrops and pink/purples for the hearts. I bought the ones I used at Michaels where they had pre-packaged sets of the colours I needed in 5×7 & 8×10 sizes. 2 – 2-Inch Heart Craft Punch 3 – Small sewing needle (or a sewing machine if you would prefer) 4 – Hot Glue Gun 5 – Thread (white or otherwise) 6 – Extra hot glue sticks and painter’s tape 7 – Large white card-stock or foam board (optional for clouds) Step 1: Punch out hearts in card-stock using heart-shaped punch.
